Update for God of War on GeForce NOW

On July 1, God of War (Steam, Epic Games Store) will be removed from the GeForce NOW library. However, it will remain available for those who have played the game at least once on GeForce NOW.

As part of the GeForce NOW opt-in process, some games may continue to be available to members on a legacy basis. This will allow members who have started playing a game at least once on GeForce NOW to continue playing it, even after the game has been removed for users who have not played it.

Q: What is considered playing the game, for the purpose of having access to it on GeForce NOW beyond the removal date?

A: GeForce NOW members must have loaded into a game and landed on the game’s main menu at least once. Members who own the game on multiple stores will need to play the game at least once from each store on GeForce NOW to retain access to both versions on GeForce NOW.

Q: I purchased God of War before July 1, but did not play a session on GeForce NOW prior to that date; can I play the game on GeForce NOW after July 1?

A: No. Members needed to have played the game on GeForce NOW at least once prior to July 1 in order to retain access on GeForce NOW. It does not impact your ownership on Steam or Epic Games Store and can continue to access the game on a standard gaming PC.
