The new SHIELD remote comes with a built-in lost remote locator.
Using the SHIELD TV mobile app:
Install the SHIELD TV app for your iOS or Android phone. Pair the app with your SHIELD TV
On the app, locate your SHIELD (your mobile device must be connected to the same network as your SHIELD)
Complete pairing by entering the 6 digit number displayed on your TV
In the mobile app, under settings (3 dots in the upper left hand side) tap “Find my remote”
SHIELD TV remote locator button:
SHIELD TV also has a remote locator button (next to the HDMI port). Your SHIELD must be powered on for this feature to work.

If you have enabled the NVIDIA SHIELD TV Skill on Alexa, you can use your paired Amazon Echo to locate your remote
