1) Make sure you have updated to the latest firmware for your SHIELD remote:
Settings > Remote & accessories > SHIELD accessories > SHIELD remote > Update firmware
2) If you continue to experience issues after upgrading your firmware, please contact NVIDIA Customer Care at www.nvidia.com/nvcc.
Our customer care team can help isolate additional causes of remote connectivity interference such as:
A) Certain noisy HDMI cables. This has solved the issue in most remaining cases.
B) Use of non-recommended USB drives. NVIDIA recommends these USB drives.
C) Internet router proximity (place router more than 4 feet away from SHIELD).
