Troubleshooting Tips for SHIELD Remote Connectivity/Performance

1)     Make sure you have updated to the latest firmware for your SHIELD remote:

        Settings > Remote & accessories > SHIELD accessories > SHIELD remote > Update firmware

2)     If you continue to experience issues after upgrading your firmware, please contact NVIDIA Customer Care at

        Our customer care team can help isolate additional causes of remote connectivity interference such as:

        A) Certain noisy HDMI cables. This has solved the issue in most remaining cases.

        B) Use of non-recommended USB drives. NVIDIA recommends these USB drives.

        C) Internet router proximity (place router more than 4 feet away from SHIELD).
