Symptoms or Error
To enable GPU acceleration for Adobe Illustrator you must provide the VM with a GPU profile that has at least 2GB of GPU Memory allocated
Selecting a profile with a lower amount of GPU Memory will cause illustrator to disable GPU acceleration and report it as having detected an incompatible GPU.
Solution
Selecting a GPU profile that has at least 2GB of GPU Memory allocated, for example:
· K2 pGPU on GPU Passthrough / vDGA
· K260Q or K280Q vGPU profile on GRID 1.0 K2 cards
· M60-2Q, M60-4Q, M60-8Q or M6-2Q, M6-4Q, MB-8Q vGPU profiles on GRID 2.0 M60/M6 cards
will automatically enable GPU acceleration within the application
Up-to-date information on the available vGPU profiles and their specifications including memory is available in the product documentation available in the download: "GRID VIRTUAL GPU - User Guide"
