Can I use SHIELD Portable to control my TV?

You can use SHIELD Portable to control your TV via third-party Android apps and hardware such as Harmony Link or GoogleTV. SHIELD Portable does not have an integrated IR emitter to directly control HDTVs or set-top boxes.
