Three Monitor Surround And Accessory Display Support with Geforce GPUs

Depending on your hardware configuration, you may be able to attach an accessory display to your existing Surround GPU configuration. This allows you to view a web page, monitoring program, chat program or other application in a fourth monitor seperate from the three monitors that are part of your NVIDIA Surround configuration as shown in the image below:

Hardware requirements for enabling an accessory monitor varies depending on the GPUs you are using.

1) Geforce 500 series and older GPUs, all Surround solutions support extra displays with extra cards that are not part of the Surround setup.

2) Geforce 600 series GPUs (i.e. Geforce GTX 680) support an accessory display with the same cards as Surround, as long as there is an extra connector available in the GPU.
