I am using an LG 3D TV and the eye order seems to be reversed when I watch 3D content with 3DTV Play.  How do I fix that?

Some LG 3D TVs may exhibit this behavior. NVIDIA has found it to occur in following LG models (note that the problem may be in other models)

  • LG 42LX6500
  • LG 47LX6500
  • LG 55LX6500
  • LG 47LX9500
  • LG 55LX9500
  • LG 60PX950

NVIDIA has found that this issue can be worked around with the following steps. Please consult your TV's manual for more information on your specific model

  1. Browse to NVIDIA Control Panel > Stereoscopic 3D > Set up stereoscopic 3D
  2. Press the checkbox to "Enable stereoscopic 3D" which will start the 3DTV Play setup wizard.
  3. During the wizard, they will be a setp that asks you to verify the correct eye order by looking through your each glasses lens to verify left eye and right eye order.
  4. Verify that your TV is affected by the eye order reversal.  One way to check is that if 3D does not look right, try turning your glasses upside down to see if the eye order looks correct with your glasses orientated this way.  If it does when you do this, your eye order is reversed.
  5. Press the Blue button (L/R Select) on LG the remote to bring up the swap screen.
  6. Switch from Left/Right to Right/Left
  7. Close the menu and look at the NVIDIA Test stereoscopic 3D application to confirm 3D looks correct
