Installing Gelato

Note: If the 32-bit version of Gelato is already installed, there is no need to reinstall the software to upgrade to Gelato Pro. To upgrade, simply install the license key as instructed below. To upgrade to the 64-bit version, which is Gelato Pro only, you will need to install the 64-bit version.

Linux
" Install:
sh installername.run
" By default the gelato installer will place the distribution into /opt/nvidia/gelato, though you may override this when installing.
" Make sure you are running the installer with permissions to create and/or write to this directory (or whichever alternate installation directory location you choose).
" Add $GELATOHOME/bin to your path
After installation is complete, you should be able to run the following command without errors:
gelato -check  -verbosity 2
Windows XP
" Install (using the installer)
" The installer will set GELATOHOME (but you'll need to reopen any command shell windows)
" The installer will add %GELATOHOME%/bin to your path
After installation is complete, you should be able to run the following command without errors:
Start Menu/All Programs/NVIDIA Corporation/Gelato/Check Gelato
Or, from a command prompt window:
gelato -check -verbosity 2
