I do not hear any audio when I am recording video in Windows Movie Maker, why?

This is an expected behavior. If you are capturing video, regardless of the source (cable TV, terrestrial broadcast, set-top box, camcorder, VCR), you may not hear audio because it doesn't pass through your sound card to your speaker. However, after you capture video and preview in in Movie Maker, you should be able to hear the audio.
