Does the NVIDIA Purevideo DVD Decoder support Transport Streams in Windows Media Player?

Yes, the NVIDIA Purevideo DVD Decoder can support Transport Streams in Windows Media Player.  You must associate the file type with Microsoft Windows Media Player first in order for it to play the file.  To set this up, follow these steps:

1.  Double click on the transport stream file you wish to play

2.  When prompted by Windows with the error message “Windows cannot open this file” select “Select the program from a list”

3.  From the “Open With” dialog scroll down select “Windows Media Player” and make sure you check “Always use the selected program to open the file”

4.  The file types have now been associated with Windows Media Player.  Follow these steps with other types of transport streams you want to playback with Windows Media Player
