I have some problems using my Set-Top box with Windows XP MCE. What can I do?

If you have any of the Set-Top box issues associated with Windows Media Center, you can submit your problem to Microsoft.

Example of Set-Top box issues:

  • Set-Top box manufacturer not listed
  • Code sets listed for manufactuter do not work
  • Set-Top box is changing channels but going to the wrong channel
  • First digit of channel change is not going through
  • Second digit of channel change is not going through
  • Third/fourth digit of channel change is not going through
  • Consecutive channel changes are being combined as one channel change
  • After every channel change the set-top box goes to an on screen setup menu
  • After every channel change the set-top box goes to a default channel (i.e. 100)
  • Any issue not listed
